Ready To Race With Jimmy Johnsen

With only days to go before the Ironman World Championships take place in Kona, Hawaii, let Funky Trunks superstar Jimmy Johnson take you through a typical run-up to race day. A qualified blacksmith from Denmark, Jimmy returned to his home country after 16 years of National Service with NATO in Bosnia, and naturally, took up triathlon! He has since raced up the rankings and is currently number four in the world. We wish him, and all the participating athletes, good luck and favourable conditions for Saturday's race.

It is all about recovery and down time. There is so much time focussed on racing it's great to have a couple of days not training. Funkita triathlete, Michelle Gailey joined me for some fun in the hotel pool!
