Elizabeth Brown Joins The F-TEAM

We are excited to welcome 12 year old Elizabeth Brown as a new addition to Funkita's F-Team. A sprint specialist in the 50, 100 and 200m freestyle events, Elizabeth clocked some impressive times and multiple podium finishes at QLD State School Championships earlier this year.

Juggling school with training under Garry Shorter at Goondiwindi Swimming Club, Elizabeth has aspirations of representing Australia at major international meets as her career progresses, and we are looking forward to being on that journey with her.

With interests outside swimming including triathlon, running, horse riding and netball, Elizabeth is looking toward the School Sport Australia Swimming & Diving Championships in Melbourne this July, with the hope of placing in the top ten of her three main events.

Wishing her the best for her training and career, the future is bright for this promising Queenslander.
