The F-Team Welcomes Dearbhail

We are thrilled to welcome Irish swimmer Dearbhail McNamara to the Funkita F-Team!

From the stunning West coast of Ireland, the 16 year old proved her worth at the recent 2014 Irish National Championships in Dublin. Swimming a fantastic 2:32.95 in the women's 200 breaststroke, not only did this make her the Irish National Champion but will see her compete at the European Championships in Berlin this August.

Formerly of her local Westport squad, Dearbhail has moved to the larger Castlebar Swimming Club recently. As a member of both regional and national teams, Dearbhail is a well known face on the high performance swimming circuit in Ireland.

With an exciting few months, and a hugely promising career ahead of her, Dearbhail is a welcome new member of the F-Team and we can't wait to see where she goes from here.
