Zac Incerti joins F-Team
Welcome to the F-Team Zac!
Funky Trunks is excited to announce that Western Australian swimmer Zac Incerti has joined the F-Team! If recent performances are anything to go by, Zac is one to watch!
At the Australian Championships in April 2016, Zac swam 54.19 for the 100m backstroke - a time that saw him enter the top 10 fastest Australian backstrokers of all time. It was his first Australian Championship final and fifth place secured him a spot on his first Australian national team.
He backed up this great result when he represented Australia at the Oceania Championships in June where he won gold in both the 50m and 100m backstroke and the 4 x 100 medley relay. Not bad for someone who started competitive swimming just three years ago!

Zac grew up in Broome, northern Western Australia, and started swimming when he was 8-years-old. He moved to Perth in 2014 and now trains with Michael Palfery at the UWA West Coast swim club, but he hasn't forgotten his roots.
"I want to inspire other regional kids to keep working hard and to never give up hope," he says.

Like most elite swimmers, Zac loves to race.
"I love swimming because of the competitiveness - it really shows what kind of person you are," he says.
Zac's idol is Aaron Peirsol, the American former world champion and world record-holder for the 100m backstroke. Aaron is a three-time Olympian and has an impressive haul of seven Olympic medals.
We're excited to welcome Zac to the team and can't wait to support him as he pursues his own Olympic dreams.
