GUYS SET FOR AUSSIE SHORT COURSE CHAMPS
Travis Mahoney is in race mode ahead of the Aussie SC Champs!
From October 26-28, Australia's fastest swimmers will battle it out in Adelaide, to pick up a medal or two, become the next short course swimming champ, and more importantly claim bragging rights for the season ahead!
Olympian Travis Mahoney will lead the charge on day 1 with a splash and dash in the men's 100 freestyle as he warms up for his main event, the 400 individual medley. Travis finished 7th at Rio 2016 so keep an eye out for a speedy swim from him!

Ryan Roche will step up to the block in all three breastroke events.
Breaststroke boy, Ryan Roche will step up to the block in all three breastroke events. With his focus set on qualifying for the Commonwealth Games, Ryan will use this meet as a stepping-stone to prepare for February. Ryan will be up against fellow F-Teamer and breaststroker Tommy Sucipto. Tommy trains at Rockingham Swmming Club.
Ethan Owens will compete in a gruelling schedule, pairing the 400 with the 800 and 1500 freestyle events. As Ethan is focusing on his open water swimming, a 1500 will be a walk in the park surely!

Kiwi F-Team breaststroker Julian Layton who trains with USC Spartans in Queensland will be looking to swim fast times ahead of trying to qualify for the Commonwealth Games. New Zealand selection is different from Australia, as Swimming New Zealand have set a qualifying period from August to December to achieves time to qualify. Layton will be using Queensland State Champs in December to try to hit the time and will be heading to Japan for the FINA World Cup meet in November to get plenty of race practise.

Jacob & Sean are swimming a total of 14 events between them!

Zac Incerti and Zac Attard will go head to head in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle. Incerti will also be competing in the 50 and 100 backstroke.
Last but certainly not least is Olympian Jack McLoughlin. Competing in 3 events across the 3 days and hoping is for a podium finish in his main event 1500m freestyle.
