Record Breaking World Champs
Jack McLoughlin powered through World Champs in his custom APEX Predator.
F-Teamers from around the world stepped up to the blocks at Gwangju and put in record-breaking swims and fantastic PBs. One of Australia's top swimmers Jack McLoughlin made finals in the 400 and 800 Free and even after being struck down by the flu he swam to a respectable 16th place in the 1500 Free. Jack made an incredible PB in the 800 Free taking almost 4 seconds of his time to hit the wall with a time of 7:42.64.
Ireland's Brendan Hyland also put in an impressive performance, breaking the Irish 200 Fly record first in the heats and then once again in the Semi-Finals. His 1:56.55 time placed him 11th in the world. Another Fly National Record was broken by Syria's Ayman Kelzi who at 2:00.59 is just shy of cracking the 2 minute mark in the 200 Fly event.

Daniel Hunter was one of 3 Funky Trunks F-Teamers who earned National Records at World Champs in Gwangju.
Daniel Hunter was also part of a record breaking team at World Champs. Together with the rest of Team New Zealand he lowered the 4 x 200 Free Relay time which has been in place for over 5 years. The Kiwi boys clocked in at an impressive 7:13.06.
