Funky Trunks is proud to announce that British Diving duo Daniel Goodfellow and Jack Laugher have joined the F-Team.

Daniel Goodfellow

Commonwealth Games gold medallist Daniel Goodfellow in Battle Axe Classic Briefs.

Daniel Goodfellow has found most of his international success in the 10m synchro event, competing alongside Tom Daley to win gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, silver at the 2016 European Championships, and bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. More recently, he has risen in prominence as a 3m springboard diver, placing 4th individually at the 2018 European Championships and 2nd individually at the 2019 FINA World Diving Series in London.

Jack Laugher

Jack Laugher, alongside Chris Mears won Britain's first ever Olympic gold medal in diving.

Jack Laugher is arguably the most successful British diver in history. Now 24 years old, he made his Commonwealth Games debut at age 15, his World Championships debut at age 16, and his Olympic debut at age 17. At the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, he won silver in the individual 3m springboard and gold in the synchro 3m with partner Chris Mears. This was Britain?s first ever Olympic gold in diving, earning both distinction as Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). Jack's trajectory has continued upward since - in 2018 alone, he won 3 gold medals at Commonwealth Games and 2 gold medals at the European Championships.

Daniel and Jack came together as a 3m springboard synchro pair last year, and they have already secured their first major international medal together with a silver at the World Championships in Gwangju. This result officially qualifies Team GB for the Tokyo Olympic Games in this event, and puts the pair in an excellent position going into 2020.

Daniel and Jack

Daniel and Jack secured a silver medal together at the World Championships in Gwangju earlier this year.

"I signed with Funky Trunks because it is a fun brand," said Goodfellow. "They make awesome gear that I can wear when I'm training and also when I'm relaxing, whether that be by the beach, or just at home in my down time." Jack is excited about becoming a Funky Trunks sponsored athlete because, "it is an exciting brand that makes excellent swimwear. I'm looking forward to getting involved with the company to help promote their range of swimwear and beachwear here in the UK."
