The Race is On! Our F-Teamers Get Set World Champs Trials
Game face on. F-Teamer Jack McLoughlin is ready for World Champs Trials.
It's the big one fellas! Swimmers from around Australia are headed to Brisbane to battle it out for a coveted spot on the Australian team heading to Gwangju next month for the FINA World Championships. It's time for our F-Teamers to taper off, shave down and show the country what they've got.

Jack McLoughlin has been training hard and is gunning for a spot on the World Champs team.
With 10 Funky Trunks athletes primed and ready to power off the block, it's set to be a fantastic meet. One of the top dogs to watch is Olympian and Commonwealth Games champ, Jack McLoughlin. Having recently swum his way onto the podium at Guangzhou, China for the first ever Champions Swim Series, Jack is looking to replicate that success at Trials and springboard into the Olympic year. James McKechnie is proof that training out of a small club doesn't mean you can't dream big. He will be racing in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke and 200m IM, hoping to make his second Australian team.

Travis Mahoney is looking to fly onto the Aussie team headed for Gwangju
A relative veteran in the sport, Travis Mahoney has represented Australia internationally since 2012. Making his Olympic debut in 2016 he has his eye on a spot on the Tokyo 2020 team and qualifying for World Champs this year will allow him to get more international race experience under his belt in the lead up to Tokyo. On the other end of the spectrum we have young gun Elliot Weber who will be taking on his first ever World Champs Trials at only 16. He'll be racing in the 200m Freestyle.

The Para boys will also be taking to the pool for the Para Grand Prix on 13-14 June.
The event also serves as the Para Grand Prix for our Para Swimmers. Nationals served as the team selection for the World Para Swimming Championships back in April and with Blake Cochrane having made the team this will be a key preparation event for him.
