F-Teamers ready for Australian SC Champs
WAIS athlete and UWA West Coast swimmer Zac Incerti has a big racing schedule this weekend
Our Funky Trunks F-Teamers are getting ready for the 2019 Hancock Prospecting Australian Short Course Swimming Championships which will take place in Melbourne from October 24 - 26.
The first Funky Trunks swimmer in the water is 19 year old Nunawading gun Brendon Smith, who begins a lengthy program with the 400m Freestyle, followed by the 200m Freestyle, 200m Backstroke and 100m Butterfly. To top it all off, he will tackle the 1500m Freestyle where he is seeded third and is aiming for a podium finish.

F-Teamers Theo Benehoutsos and Brendon Smith add to the Funky Trunks squad competing this weekend
Joining Brendon for the 200m Freestyle sting is another one of our Funky legends, Max Giuliani. As the 2019 Australian Age Champion in this event, Max will undoubtedly bring the heat to the competition.
Our 'Fly King' Theodore Benehoutsos, will be competing for Melbourne Vic Centre and makes a return from injury. He will be preparing for a flying week in the 50m, 100m and 200m Butterfly trifecta and we can't wait to welcome him back to the pool!

Zac Incerti and Lachlan Carter will go head to head this weekend
Lachlan Carter and Zac Incerti will go head to head in a speed round of 100m and 50m Freestyle events. A new exhibition style race, skins racing is a first for the Championships with a knockout style race focused less about times and more about racing with the winner taking home $1000 prize money.
The dash continues for Incerti in the 50m and 100m Backstroke, where he will have fellow F-Teamer Travis Mahoney racing alongside him. Having just finished some fantastic racing in Naples for the ISL Aquacenturions, Mahoney will smash through all three of his Backstroke events at Australian SC Championships with the same power and pace that propelled him through the International Swimming League.

James McKechnie in new Streaker Training Jammers
Ranked in podium positions across all five of his events, Commonwealth Games finalist James McKechnie brings his A-game to the champs in the 50m, 100m and 200m Breaststroke and the 100m and 200m IM events.
A massive good-luck to our legendary F-Teamers this weekend. The full events list for each Funky Trunks swimmer can be found below if you would like to follow their results over the meet.
